This festbier pours full amber with an impressively clingy froth. It offers fresh hops and warm, toasty malt in the bouquet. The velvety mouthfeel and medium body give way to a full malty, sweet flavor and reserved, but firm, hop bitterness of 21 IBU’s.

Amber colored pour, and it is somewhat murky. The head is 4 finger, off white, fluffy looking and also fairly long lasting. There's no lacing on the glass.
The nose is a malty, biscuit aroma. Slightly nutty as well.
Up front it is somewhat bitter, from the hops used. This mellows out quickly to a malty, buttery biscuit, nutty flavor on the backside.
The body is decent. Pretty good for the style.
Not a bad beer in the style.

L-Orange/amber colored....ok clarity..
S-Nice rich malt aroma...no caramel...more bready and rich...very light solventy note
T-Interesting flavor...has the toasted malt notes you'd expect along with the rich bready notes...a dusting of cocoa as well...slight fusel/solvent like note as well at first but never a huge component of the flavor.
F-Medium bodied but finishes a little sharp and alcoholic
O-This is decent enough...a lot of toasted malts ..7.3% so I expected something along the lines of Summit's and to be honest that is what I got from this for the most part...a bit more bready than Summit and better overall but has a little of that same sharpness and light solventy/fusel alcohol notes..
