I bought this at Ramirez Brothers, a small craft beer warehouse specialty store in East LA. I saw 3 different groups of people buying 4 packs each so I figured I'd grab a pack myself. For those who may not know, the name of the beer is a pun on Dodgers' perennial all star pitcher Clayton Kershaw, and the color pattern of the can is based off Dodgers' colors. In fact, there is one pack of home colors, and one pack of away colors. Pretty genius marketing if you ask me.
Anyways, I hate to say it, but the best thing about this beer is the can. I poured it into a pilsner glass that I've "borrowed" from one of my favorite breweries. Nice gold color with a decent amount of foam. "Kershop" would insinuate a hop heavy beer. I was disappointed as it was average hopped at best. Taste was nothing special. I tasted too much of one hop, with notes of nothing else. I'm assuming it sold very well because of its unofficial affiliation to the baseball team.
