Pours a hazy light golden straw color with very nice lacing. Smell is fruity tropical and dank. Nice floral hops ,citrus, pine and garden dankness, melon and berries. Mouth soft with ABNV well hidden it advertised as a 2IPS WC i dont see that at all. Twas drinkable thou.

This version has Citra and Mosaic Cryo hops.
I like how it turned out. Nothing catty here. A relatively assertive toffee like malt backing combines with equally assertive hop notes of pine, tobacco, and citrus. Balanced but strongly flavored if that makes sense...just a hint of lingering bitterness on the finish. I really like this one. Tough to find DIPA's built in this manner.

Thanks Jessica.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a nice looking bright copper to yellowed orange color with a steady finger and a half's worth of white foamy head slowly dissipating to leave some sticky messy lace.
The aroma had some bittersweet piney hops playing with some honey crisp malts and biscuity/wafer qualities.
The flavor leaned into a stiff bittersweet maltiness while accompanying some bittersweet piney hops. Long aftertaste of clean caramel malts.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Carbonated purely like an old school American DIPA (or West coast styled [depending upon who you talk to]), this one doesn't linger across my tongue but moves smoothly with no hop harshness. Finishes with some caramel malts and piney hops.
Overall, this beer screams old school styled American DIPA, not bad. I'd have again if handed one.

From a 12 oz can dated 2/14/18. Pours to a light amber/dark straw appearance with a nice two-finger white head that laces beautifully. Smells grainy, grassy and tropical with a hint of off-putting yogurt. Taste leans towards the earthy dank side with citrus and yogurt playing a minor role. Feel is on the medium side with nice carbonation. I liked this beer on tap when I visited the brewery a couple months ago. The canned version is just as good. My only beef is the $11 price tag for a 4-pack. Well made, easy drinking local DIPA that is worth seeking out.
