3rd half pour from tap. Each one better than the last I am assuming this trend cannot continue. Generally not a big nelson fan. I have no idea what they did to this one though because it was amazing. Tropical. Perfect touch of spice.

12oz can, snifter glass. Cloudy darker straw yellow body, murky, one finger white head, fair retention, not much lacing. Smell is an adequately spicy Nelson tropical fruit, a bit of grainy malt, caramel, a touch of floral resin. Good, not all that complicated or bold, but balanced. Flavour is fairly mild as far as NE IPAs go; a fair bit of sweet caramel, a very mild tropical fruit and slight floral spice, fairly sweet grainy malt. Seems to me that this could use more hopping or even dry-hopping with the Nelson, but that's just me. Medium lighter body, good carbonation, decent mouthfeel, fairly pedestrian but balanced NE IPA.

Tasted in a tall tulip from draft at Eagle Park Brewing on July 14, 2018. New England style IPA brewed with Nelson Sauvin hops. Fruity, tropical notes of lychee, mango and fresh crushed gooseberries.
