This is a 16oz. can poured into a 20oz. beer glass. This is very dark, at first there was a perfect dark tan, two finger head of foam. This foam quickly slipped away leaving no lacing left behind.
The aroma is sweet chocolate malt, and a touch of coffee.
The sweet cocoa is up front, then there is the slight coffee nib, just a light touch of bitter or crispness to cut the sweetness, then it finishes with the smooth milky finish.
This is a very easy stout to drink. At 6.5%ABV it is easy to sample several of these. There is not an alcohol feel to this at all.

Not sure if this is no longer brewed?
But 16 oz can from Lifesource Natural Grocer is Salem OREGON.
$3.29
Pours a Coca-Cola coloured body with a nice tan head.
Aromas of semi dark chocolate, blackberries and cream.
Taste is nice. Sweet and milky. Berries and chocolate. Good.
Nice mouth feel well carbonated but still somehow smooth. Nice coffee aftertaste.
Very good milk stout.

Poured from a 16 oz. can into a snifter.

LOOK: Dark brown. Very little foam that dissipates quickly.

SMELL: Roasty, yeasty.

TASTE: Kind of bready, astringent at first. Coffee.

FEEL: Thinner, less creamy that I might have expected. Easy drinking.

OVERALL: It's fine. Drinkable, nothing wrong with it. Not much to remember or come back for. Suffers a bit in comparison to the imperial stouts of the season.

6th half pour. Gorgeous black color. Aromas kind of dull but I generally find that to be true of stouts. Just some roasty malt aromas with a hint of coffee. The coffee flavor comes through a little subdued but overall it is very good. I would love to blind test it against Masthead's single origin coffee stout. From my first taste it didn't strike me as quite as good as that one. But I think I could be surprised in a blind tasting.

Really well done for the style. Smell is sweet roast and milk chocolate.
Dark brown with big white head.
Good beer on a chilly night
Lots of toasty flavors with chocolate and creaminess.
Crushable for a stout. Could drink multiples
