Canned 11/15/22 (3 months ago)
Appearance: Pours a completely hazy (5% clarity) medium golden to yellow color with a strong white head. SRM of 7. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong and juicy aromas of ripe mandarin orange, tropical pineapple with an overwhelming and sweet peach and strawberry flavor underneath.
Flavor: Strong and juicy flavors of orange, citrus, topical and sweet peach, strawberry sweetness. Juicy and sweet.
Feel: Heavier-bodied, decent carbonation. A thick, rich, and sweet mouthfeel.
Compared to Eagle Park DDH Citra on the Dock of the Bay 2/2023: Pours darker and hazier, milder head. Stronger aromas. More sweet peach and strawberry. less citrus and rind. Heaver and sweeter.
Overall: I really enjoyed their Demon Haze so excited to see what this DDH could do. Granted this one is about 3 months old so may have faded a bit. However, I think it drinks a bit too cloying and sweet. It's juicy, rich, but heavy, sticky, and sweet. Same Demon Haze flavors, so maybe it's better than I'm giving it credit. (Rating: 3.80)

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours hazy orange yellow with a fluffy white head. Smells of creamy tropical and citrus fruit. Tastes of citrus and tropical fruit, with nice creamy finish. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

Thanks Jessica.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a purely thick burnt orange color with a small cap of a little white foamy head. Small little hill of foam in the center. Speckled lace glosses the sides of the glass nicely.
The aroma smells like long embittered piney sweet hops with a cool even keeled juicy orange pulp. Clean biscuit malt underneath.
The flavor leans towards an ambitious juicy sweet hop character meshing with subtle piney bittersweet hints. Mild aftertaste of juicy citrusy and piney hops.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Carbonation felt about medium. Perhaps could be a touch lower for the style but I wasn't worried. Finish was super juicy with some dryness but seemed quite settled then subtle pine.
Overall, super loved this beer! No hop heat, great juicy finish and could definitely hang with the ones brewed here in New England!
