Pours the color of summer wheat with a luscious three finger head and an aroma that wafts out promising a rich NEIPA experience. I am hit by notes of flowers and then a sweet citrus scent. Taste is bright, clean and clearly a NEIPA, though perhaps a very small bit on the light side. This is an excellent choice for a summer beer.

 

Poured from the tap into a tulip pint. Pours yellow orange with a small white head. Smells of citrus hops. Tastes of citrus hops with nice grain backbone, slight floral notes. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

So I look at the can, and I see a lion go roar. And then when I take a sip... Ima go with a bobcat - which is cool. But like a lion? That’s Zlaten territory. While this beer is more like some Croatian footballer who is really good, but he’s not Zlaten. He’s the bobcat. Ok, I guess that’s enough.

Tasted in a tall tulip from draft at Eagle Park Brewing on December 7, 2019. New England IPA brewed with Sultana and Citra hops. Unique hops give this an interesting taste.
