Not a fan... Smells of sewage and bear defecate. Poured into a 5oz glass it twas swampy with a deep burgundy hue. It tastes tart and the flavor of blackberries WANTS desperately to break free... however its lost all to soon to the fecal matter plunge that is now doubt "Ghana Cacao Nibs". I am now left with a feeling of stinging disillusion... IT SEEMED SO PROMISING!!!

16oz can. No dating information found.
Murky, purplish red colored body. Brief fizzy head reduces to a surface swirl fed by rising bubbles. Little bit of an oily sheen left behind.
Aroma is a fruity chocolate mix. Without a deep breath, the smell is similar to chopped up raspberry vines.
Taste is a fruity sour ale overlaid with semisweet chocolate. Aftertaste brings more distinction to the raspberry and the cocoa fades away quickly.
Medium mouth feel. Some tingling and effervescence in the mouth. Good carbonation.
This is a beer that a person will either hate or will appreciate for the brewing exercise. The clash of the raspberry and the dry cocoa is rather jarring. If you just keep sipping it without too many pauses, the beer is bearable but the off smell cannot be avoided. I have three more of these to get through.
