As the two previous reviews noted carbonation is an issue. Gives this a much thinner body feel than it probably deserves. Flavor leans on the chocolate side...it's clean drinking...more of a dunkel than bock.....just a bit of breadiness....lacks the Melanoidins I'm looking for or the body...
Still, a fine drinking beer for your average borderline craft beer fan...and for me as well....just scoring this for the style...

I poured the first can into a glass. The head disappeared fast and beer seemed flat. I decided to drink the second beer straight from can. A noticeable difference. A good Bock beer but carbonation needs to be looked into.

Nice name.....BTO, this is a Bock beer , , from a 120z. can poured into a pint glass. This beer had a perfect head two fingers of a rich tan foam. It looked great but disappeared in seconds, without a trace of lacing left behind. This beer is a dark cola color and when held up to the light, carbonation is noticeable.
The malt aroma is very noticeable from a distance.
The flavor is sweet malts, but not overly sweet. There is nothing bitter or dry here, just a sweet smooth fresh malt flavor. This seems to simple, but it is good!.
The feel is light and the carbonation is a non factor. This surprises me because there seems to be plenty and I expected it to be more of a factor.
This lager seems to simple, yet it is enjoyable. The aroma is very pleasing. Something needs to be done with the carbonation though, it feels somewhat flat rather quickly.
