Tasted in a Rastal Teku from a one pint can on October 9, 2022. A hazy IPA brewed with oats and wheat. Hopped with Mosaic and Mosaic cryo hops. Nice aroma, odd tatste.

Pours a hazy light golden wheat color with a afresh 1 finger head . Smell is juicy and dank with garden notes. Taste has citrus,papya berrie melon and garden dankness. Mouth feel soft juicy tropical with some lingering bitterness. Tasty for the style

Appearance: Pours a nearly completely hazy (10% clarity) light and pale yellow color with a strong white head. SRM of 5. (4.00)

Aroma: Strong aromas of tropical fruit, tropical melon and berry, with some tropical guava and rind aromas. (4.00)

Flavor: Flavors follow with tropical ripe peaches, tropical pineapple, melon, berries. A tropical guava and pineapple rind presence with a light astringency. A definite peach note within the wheat. A fairly dry finish.

Feel: Medium-bodied. A full, slightly grainy mouthfeel of wheat. A smooth, grainy finish. Soft and smooth. (4.50)

Compared to Phase 3 DDH Low Ceilings 10/5/22: Pours a lighter, hazier color. Milder aromas. More guava, rind, and wheat. Less juicy tropical melon, citrus, and berries. A greater astringency.

Compared to Humble Forager Misty Mirage 10/7/22: Pours lighter, hazier, milder aromas. More tropical peach, wheat, and stonefruit. Less juicy and tropical berries.

Compared to Hop Butcher Interocean 10/7/22: Pours lighter, hazier, milder aromas. More tropical peach, wheat, and stonefruit. Less dank tropical berries and pine.

Compared to Great Notion DDH Plump 11/2022: Pours a darker color, stronger aromas. More tropical pineapple, melon, berries, stonefruit and peach. Less citrus rind, grapefruit, pomelo, and passionfruit. Sweeter, smoother, heavier.

Compared to Eagle Park Arabella 12/2022: Pours a darker color, milder aromas. More tropical and ripe peach, stonefruit, berry, melon. Less creamy lemon citrus and flower. Similar creamy oat body and sweetness.

Overall: A nice, malty wheat hazy IPA and showcase of Mosaic. The wheat provides a soft, full mouthfeel that leaves an astringency off the Mosaic that provides a tropical guava-like flavor. Some ripe peach definitely as it ages a bit. Tropical, but with a slight astringency. Yet, soft from the wheat. A great and full mouthfeel like you'd expect. (Rating: 4.20)
