16oz can dated "04/06/23 Drink Two Joints"
Labeled a "Double India Pale Ale with Citra, Mosaic, Columbus, and Eureka hops. Brewed in collaboration with 1840 Brewing Company."
Hazy to the point of murky and just short of bacon fat with voluminous suds leaving the glass coated with artistic, webbed, and stepped lacing. Tiny chunks collect at the bottom of the glass.
Fruity aromas are backed by green onion, chalk, and cat pee. Mostly tangerine and pineapple, with maybe lemon, but certainly citrus dominant.
Flavors stay in the fruit realm for the most part, with more bitter, dank, hop notes further behind, but still making their presence known. Thanks, Dan.
Mouthfeel is full, heady, and a chalky residue maintains a dank taste on the palate.
Overall I need more of these, if I dare, to differentiate a double IPA from a NEIPA, but it is not nearly as oniony as many I have had and more so than others.
