Liquid conifer. This beer is the Boundary Waters (or all of the North Country for that matter) in a pint glass.

A hazy off-orange pour with little head. Opaque throughout. The smell of spruce dominates the bouquet and enticed me to try something that I knew would be an adventure...and sure enough the spruce flavor carries through the palate, balanced nicely by a strong crispiness. The carbonation provides a nice fizziness through a swig, which has a calming, smooth body and aromatic resonance.

As for drinkability, the proof was in the pudding...my friends and I finished a pitcher before we knew it and ordered a second.

Kudos to Twin Ports for this bold, unique and wonderful release!
