From tasting notes. Had on tap at the brewery. This is a hazy straw colored wheat beer but it lacks the wheat/yeast/spicy flavor usually associated with wheat beers and the hops aren’t quite right – either a little too much or the wrong kind and they don’t have the yeast quite right.

Originally reviewed May 8, 2005. On tap at the brewpub. Clean, slightly cloudy golden pour. Thin to no head. Very carbonated. This is a wheat beer? Almost no wheat texture or flavor, its like a slightly thicker and slightly more fruity pale ale. Sugary hops background with sweet malt and pears and apples. The bartender told me it was more of an atypical wheat beer. Not real exciting.
