Served in a huge weizen glass. A very cloudy and semi-transparent brown with a one finger high cap of foam.
The smell consists of wheat, with a light sourness and even lighter coffee scent.
When cold, there was quite a bit of coffee coming through, but as it warmed, the coffee was just gone. Wheaty with some light sour notes, and especially as it warmed, quite a bit of a smoke presence. The flavor just doesn't seem to work for me real well.
A very thin and almost watery mouthfeel. Light medium feel.
I would not have this one again. The coffee was not really there and the body was off. Just didn't do anything for me.
