Dark brew with red/brown hues on the edges. Darker white head that settles fairly quickly. Nonetheless, looks to style.
Aroma was somewhat tight in general. Mild roast is most notable.
Nice and flavorful roast that is never excessive, nearly always present and always enjoyable. Mild and soft hope presence - a very good example of balance.
Potato shows in feel. Seems to add some smoothness, yet an aspect of grit or feel to the drink. This is a very enjoyable aspect of the whole beer. Still balanced nice, but enough to make a difference. Also nicely carbonated with a soft and smooth presence, yet still evident.
Over alll a very nice drinkable beer. Seemed to have a bigger kick than the below 6% the flavor seemed to represent - although that's a guess. Certainly a recommended beer if in the establishment.
Thanks T.
