Appearance: The body is a very hazy light gold. The head is frothy with a creamy and bumpy textured medium-sized cap. It has good retention and leaves good lacing.
Aroma: It smells like wildflowers and caramel. There is a strong, floral. soapy aroma which lingers on the nose.
Taste: This bitter root flavor kicks in as soon as the beer hits the palate, then there is a sharp lemon zest note, followed by strong floral flavors, then a lot more bright citrus flavor. Underneath the whole flavor profile there is this gentle caramel flavor that softly creeps its way in. It's a bit of a coin toss as to whether the beer ends with this sweet caramel flavor or this bright citrus flavor.
Mouthfeel: Carbonation seems to be a bit on the high side. The body rests evenly in the middle and the bitterness is high with a touch of roughness. The beer tends to linger on the palate with a soapy floral bitterness which can be a bit unpleasant. The same quality works well while drinking the beer.
Overall: The beer had a nice aroma and an even better flavor. The floral qualities of the beer mixed with the caramel sweetness seemed to go well with each other most of the time. It's not a beer I would drink too often but it is worth at least trying.
