Notes:
Massive late additions of Citra, Mosaic, and Amarillo hops give this beer a strong tropical aroma and flavor. A simple grain bill of 2 row base malt, wheat, and flaked oats give this beer a beautiful full body; and the high protein content contributes to a pleasant haze. To further accentuate the tropical flavor and aroma we double dry hop this beer with Vic Secret hops. Vic Secret is a newer aroma hop out of New Zealand characterized by its strong tropical fruit flavors and aromas. Even with the massive amount of hops we use this beer comes in at only 35 IBUs; low in bitterness but huge in hop flavor.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours hazy orange with a fluffy white head. Smells of bright citrus and slight tropical fruit. Tastes of tropical fruit and citrus, very bright. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

Hazy IPA pours a hazy bright yellow color, with a long lasting. long lacing head. Aroma is very sweet and fruity. Flavor is more bitter, some dry fruit notes, but much more earthy hop flavors. Good body and feel. Overall, this is a more bitter and hoppier hazy IPA, with great strong flavors.

Pours a hazy (surprise) apricot yellow with a wispy white head. Head falls away rapidly leaving spotty lacing. Aroma is a blend of tropical and citrus fruits. Pineapple is the most forward. Flavor follows the nose, sweet in front with a mild hop bite in the finish. Feel is soft, watery and in need of a bit more carbonation. Overall okay if only it had a better feel.

Born on date on the 12oz can
Great haze and a creamy body and thick head. Smell and taste is simply overhopped, but in a good way. Tons of juicy vegetal hops like you're chewing on a hop bud apple.. if that makes sense

The pour is a cloudy/hazy yellow color. The taste is peach, orange, mango, & pineapple. Cheers! B

This beer won a bronze, I think at the GABF 2019, but it must have been a shallow field. It's not a bad NEIPA, and it is true to style, but there's nothing there to make it stand out or have you put on the list to buy any times available.

Tasted in a snifter from draft at City Lights Brewing Company on December 7, 2019. Hopped with Citra, Mosaic and Amarillo then double dry-hopped with El Dorado and Vic Secret. Juicy tropical fruit notes.

12oz can. Stamped canning date is '10/30/19'. 2019 GABF Silver Medal Recipient under category of Juicy or Hazy India Pale Ale.
Murky, pale gold colored body. Egg shell white one finger head, sticks around as thin cap. Leaves behind a motley array of lacing.
Aroma of pineapple, orange, melon and mango. Slight pine.
Taste is orange, melon, and some grapefruit pith. Low bitterness.
Medium mouth feel, with soft texture. Very good carbonation.
Not awesome at two months of age, but displays the NEIPA characteristics. Easy to drink big gulps, with a dryness throughout. Not much flavor left in the aftertaste.

Canned 9/20/19; drank 11/25/19 @ the Yarchives.
Cloudy orange/yellow appearance.
A violent pour yielded a HUGE off-white head; frothy lace.
Orange soda & wheat notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Orange soda & wheat flavors; artificially sweet & kinda dry.
Not really what I'm looking for with this style.

Huge head, three plus fingers, the retention is excellent even though it’s more airy than a souffle, spotty lacing but lots of it. Lighter golden color but still opaque. Dense yet sinewy nose rife with pineapple, mango scents buttressed by apricot, any dankness is fresh and not overly concentrated, real juicy pink grapefruit component, stays full for some time. Full-bodied, a touch heavy, the carbonation is not active enough to break it open. Pretty florality, some pine, the soft texture diminishes the impact of any herbaceousness. Generous blood orange, grapefruit citrus. A caramel to honey element extends the sweetness of flavors as the palate starts to dry and tighten. Overripe peach, apricot, nectarine to melon and guava fruit. Nothing unique going on but ranks high for drinkability. (Canned 7/2/19)

I had heard good things about this. Tried it on tap at the Wisconsin state fair.
Looks the part. Big white head and thick haze.
Smell is muted. Maybe because it's super cold...not sure. Maybe some pineapple and a little orange.
Can't get a whole lot out of the flavor - very subtle hints of mango, orange, and pineapple. No bitterness. Not a super sweet finish which is good.
This beer does some things well, but it's lacking in taste and nose. This style should punch you in the face.

Appearance: Pours a completely, 100% hazy, pale creamy yellow color with visible sediment floating in the glass. A mild to moderate white head. SRM of 7. So much pale and haze. (4.0)
Aroma: Strong aromas of peach, pineapple, and grapefruit. There is apricot and strawberry too. A little melon and passionfruit. (3.75)
Flavor: Flavor follows the nose with lots of peach, pineapple, grapefruit, and passionfruit. Juicy, with milk and cream behind it all. No bitterness. (4.0)
Feel: Grainy and heavy. Wants to be creamy, but not quite. (3.75)
Overall: A really good "hazy" IPA. Not a double-dry hopped, local juice bomb, but for a more economic option, this could compete with some of the macrobreweries best attempts at the style. A fantastic juice profiles and has visible sediment. I would recommend this beer for a more reasonable hazy IPA. (Final rating: 3.92)
