Appearance - The beer poured a golden copper color with a white head crowning the draft.
Smell - The bitter notes of the rye were noted in the nose, but juniper was also detected.
Taste - The overall profile was quite bold. There was a lot of rye in the initial taste. The tart sourness of the juniper made the rye pop. It brought to mind a sahti.
Mouthfeel - The medium carbonation combined with the sticky notes of the juniper. It had some lingering power.
Overall - If this brewery were near me, I might drink a lot of this beer.
