A rich and creamy traditional Irish Stout, brewed with a special yeast from Ireland. Noted by its sweet malt flavor, robust mahogany aroma, and subtle licorice spice. Best enjoyed at just above cellar temperatures.

L - Very dark brown. Hard to tell, but appears clear. Thin, but fairly persistent tan head.
S - Light dark malt aromas. Coffee, toast.
T - Flavor is relatively mild and on the sweet side. Dark malts - coffee is most prominent, but also molasses and black licorice. Lemony hops.
F - Medium light.
O - Decent take on the style.

Pours a dark coffee color with a very small fingernail of head.
Aromas of anise, pepper, coffee, and smashed blackberries.
A roasted barley flavor comes forth with soft coffee notes, sour milk, and black pepper. Suggestions of anise and dark fruits somewhere in there as well. Final note is of black pepper and sour milk.
Feel is roasted, and leaves a nice coating on the palate. Very good carbonation.
Overall, this one could use improvement. It's nothing spectacular and I'd recommend skipping over it.
