Pouring a cloudy mahogany from the bottle, this lager's scent expanded from the slightly sour smell of corn silage (not a bad thing) and malt when the bottle was first breached to include aromas of caramelized banana and fruitcake. The slightly off-white head of less than a finger quickly dissipated. Round with only modest carbonation, the flavor was more sour than bitter though it was still a little cloying. It feels/tastes/seems like the concern was more to have something high ABV and semi-palatable than anything else. Not a fan, but others might be.
