12oz canned 5-23-23, opened 6-18-23.
1/2" white head with good retention on a pale yellow and clear body. Wispy lacing.
Hay, grass, hint of sulfur and clay in the aroma.
Clean with crackery malt, spicy hops, and a touch of floral/rosewater.
Light body, medium level of carbonation and very close to crisp in the mouthfeel. Light bitterness and a hint prickly in the dry finish. Refreshing with high drinkability.
Very Good.

Picked up a six pack. Date on can: 05/23/23.
Pours a crystal clear golden straw in color with a finger of bubbly head that quickly disappears. A little bit of lacing. Carbonation looks average with moderately sized bubbles rising up. Fairly typical on the pour with less than average head and head retention.
Sweet grains, lemon, light fruits, floral and maybe a bit of grass. Very clean aroma, the Hallertau come through. This smells much more like a traditional German rather than a Czech style pilsner.
Taste is very in line with aroma. Crackery grains, lemon, hop spice and floralness. Classic Hallertau.
This is lighter bodied with slightly zesty carbonation, but not overly aggressive. Fits the style. Drinks very clean and finishes slightly dry. Very drinkable and refreshing.
This was a bit underwhelming after the pour but got better from there. A classic euro pilsner but I would have guessed German, not Czech/Bavarian. It's almost a hybrid, though. It's not overly complex or flavorful but it is nicely refined. Good if you're in the mood for the style. Prost!
