A little over a year ago our good friend @andy.dickerson gifted us a smaller @hudsonwhiskey bourbon barrel which he received from their barrel pick for @teresas_wayne. We filled it in February of last year, and laid the liquid to rest quietly in a snug corner of the brewery where it was lost to time. After a yearlong snooze, the transformed elixir was racked out and hand packaged by Ben and Curt. The result is a wonderfully complex tipple, with a nose of boozey sandalwood and cinnamon. Deceptively smooth on the palate with rich toffee, oaky vanillan, coconut flesh, and sticky bread pudding. Light carbonation allows for it to wrap you up in its long arms for a soul warming hug to finish, coming in at 11% abv.
