Second District Brewing Co. "Destroy All Lines"
16 fl. oz. can "CANNED ON: 05/20/2022 09:08 STYLE WARS"
$17/4-pk at the brewery on 9/17/22
Notes via stream of consciousness: A hazy straw gold body is capped by a finger's width of dense white foam. The aroma is bold and bright with notes of citrus, hop resins, and pine. The flavor is fuller with notes of red grapefruit, berries, orange, pine, apricot, peach, melon, and lemon-lime. It's solidly bitter and finishes dry and long lingering with resin and pine over faded citrus. In the mouth it's medium to medium-light in body and gently crisp. The head retention is very good, and it's left some great lacing about the glass. Overall this is an interesting beer because it kind of combines IPA styles, the west coast style, the juicy NEIPA style, and the "session" IPA style at just 5% ABV. You could definitely drink a few of these, and yet just one satisfies on its own.
