While maybe not an intentional addition, raccoons are the stealthy night visitors to almost every barnyard. Just like the dark they visit under, this IPA adds in some dark malts to a classic IPA. The dark malts contribute a rich colour and subtle depth, but offer very little roasted flavour, allowing the bright citrus and pine notes from the hops to shine through along with the assertive bitterness of a West Coast IPA. At 6.9%, this Black IPA provides a satisfying and slightly warming finish, perfect for those chilly December evenings.
