I picked this beer up at their brewpub in Chester, PA. Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is as salty as the Dead Sea. Taste is tart, sour, salty, but not as much as the smell would have indicated, a hint of lemons. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall it ain't bad, but it's not really my thing.

A&S: Easily one of the worst looking beers I have seen. Fizzy white head vaporizers instantly as it is poured. Translucent light yellow beer with barely a sign of carbonation. No legs. Really flat, lame looking beer. Contrary to the look, the aroma is pretty good. Sweet, grainy, and black cherries.
T&M: Not bad. Not one of my favorite sours, but not bad. Can't taste the Himalayan sea salt, but I tasted tartness, slight acidity, and slightly fruity. Not a ton of carbonation, but honestly more than I expected.
O: Not bad especially for the price. I would say it would be worth a try.

Pours a slightly hazy, yet mostly clear, yellow straw color. Carbonation is visible with a minimal head that quickly dissipates. A thin ring of lace retains throughout.
The aroma emits a barnyard funk that is also redolent of hay and grass. It is also soon apparent that this will be a sour drink as a lemon like aroma begins to develop. Consistent with style, a briny and sea salt like smell also begins to develop.
The taste is quite tart, almost acidic. Flavors of lemon, sour citrus fruit, dry cider, and vinegar. A doughy malt texture is evident in the mid palate. A touch of brine and salt are subtle and not overdone.
Light bodied with a moderate carbonate. Acidic and slightly intense. A bone dry finish and a puckering mouthfeel.
I thought it was fairly accurate for the style, albeit a little intense and perhaps slightly one dimensional. I recently had this breweries’ RBF, also a Gose, and preferred how its raspberry flavor took the edge off of things.
