From the bottom of the can: "060519 01904 815"
The can I have is green and states "4.7 % ALC/VOL 1 PINT" on the paper label.
Appearance: The body is a light beige that is completely opaque. The head is medium-large, frothy, and leaves cobweb lacing. Good head retention and lacing.
Aroma: There is a nice strong mango aroma with a bit of tangerine.
Taste: Under-ripe pineapple skin comes out first, then there is a bit of mango flesh, followed by a grassy taste.
Mouthfeel: Bitterness is low, the body is fairly light, the beer is easy to drink with the exception of a mild bit of hop bite.
Overall: Although the label states that this is a regular "INDIA PALE ALE," all signs point to a New England IPA. As a New England IPA it is pretty good but the flavors are still grassy. If you don't mind that, it's worth picking up. I could drink it again.

Can from Whole Foods Dark lemon color with a touch of haze and a thin bubbly white head that dissipates quickly. Earthy grassy citrus and light fruit against a thin bready watery maltiness. Pretty easy to drink.
