From notes
Can from Candia Rd
Pours a fairly clear deep brown color with a decent sized long lasting tightly bubbled off white head. Rich caramel chocolate roasted and creamed coffee with hints of earthy hops to balance.
Pretty tasty stout.

Says 'oatmeal stout' on the can so I poured into an English pint glass.
The appearance was a pure dark black color with a quickly dissipating small foamy eggshell white head. Soft lace weaves in strings sticking to the glass nicely.
The aroma had some sweet earthy to ashy/char to almost coffee to sweet oaty partaking. Light amounts of dark chocolate, toffee, earthy character, nuts and milk chocolate coincide nicely.
The flavor seemed to blend quite between the roast, toast, earthy nuts, toffee and quaint blend of chocolate tones. Semi-sticky aftertaste of malted chocolate, toffee, oatmeal and earthy character.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality to it. Sturdy carbonation and ABV. Good finish of oaty to earthy semi-dry cocoa powdery tones.
Overall, I see it as an English oatmeal stout, not necessarily as an American stout as projected on here. Still, I would have again.

Can. Near black with tan ring and island. Earthy chocolate chip cookie aroma with some plummy oat tang. Medium sweet and tangy (which is only acceptable in an *oatmeal* stout). Medium woody earthy finish. Light and creamy.
