A nutty biscuit and chocolate character and subtle roast characterize this eccentric gentleman. Named in honor of Littleton’s local park that we’re helping to restore.

Can from a Lazy Dog
Solid sticky black in color with a frothy tan head that persists. Roasty earthy chocolate licorice and burnt sugars. Very faint coconut. Nice sipper.

From the 16 oz. can with what looks like a canning date of March 2019. Sampled on May 19, 2019.
The appearance is chocolate brown with a modest, fading, and lacing-leaving tan head.
Nice roasted sweet malt aroma at first and then the coconut milkiness kicks in to boost that sweetness. An earthy hop background that is more subdued.
Medium body.
There is a bright, milky sweetness to the taste thanks also to the coconut. The finish tends to be warming and earthy but not highly bitter. No booze in the flavor or aroma.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a tulip glass.
Pours a dark cola brown with a half-finger of khaki head. The head leaves a few random splotches of lacing before settling into a thin halo.
The aroma brings notes of caramel, nougat, and milk chocolate with a back end of sweet coconut shavings. A little boozy.
The flavor is all about dat caramel and nougat. There's some subtle milk chocolate and fresh coffee before an even more subtle wave of coconut. As the beer warms the coconut becomes more prominent. Not as boozy as the nose led on.
The feel is medium-full bodied with moderate carbonation. A bit light for the style. Has an extremely dry and acrid finish. Still drinkable as hell.
Overall, a good imperial stout that is perhaps a bit light on the coconut flavor considering it's on the can. Still, a good and flavorful beer that's worth drinking.
