12 FL. OZ bottle
Served in a snifter
This beer pours black and had minimal mocha head.
It smells like orange and chocolate. I get a little caramel and vanilla. The orange really comes out as it warms as does the bourbon.
The taste is orange right off the bat. It is followed by dark chocolate and coffee. I taste a little booze.
Full bodied with a smooth mouthfeel
This is a good beer. Chocolate orange is not my favorite flavor, but it was good nevertheless.

Imperial stout brewed with molasses, vanilla, and chocolate and aged in Buffalo Trace Bourbon barrels. Collaboration beer with Party Source and the Cincinnati Craft Beer Club. Poured from a bottle into a Taft tulip. Very dark pour, not too viscous, and a half-finger of tan foam that dissipates almost instantly. I get a lot of milk chocolate on the nose as well as creamy vanilla, toasted oak, and burnt sugar.
Full body with a firm feel and a rich flavor. Up front there is sweet malt, toffee, milk chocolate, and sorgum. As the flavors develop across the palate a little bit of coffee creeps in along with toasted oak, a little bourbon, brown sugar, and unsweetened cocoa. There is a hint of sarsaparilla near the back of the palate and it lingers on the finish along with the cocoa. I wish the feel was a little bit more creamy, but the flavor is extremely rich and it hits all the right notes.
