On tap in Rome. White head with lace. Clear dark golden.
Very bready/biscuity. Grassy hops. Malty with a light bitterness. Grainy. Smooth and easy drinking.

4.8% Helles (bottom fermentation).
Also very good in the bottle.
Flagship beer of the Birrificio Mukkeller, a small family brewery in the Marche Region, central Italy.
Creamy and persistent foam after a "vertical" pour.
Golden yellow color with auburn reflections, slightly opaque (not very clear).
Important malty part: bread, crusty bread, cereals (barley, durum wheat).
Pungent and bitter finish that "dries" it drunk and disappears almost immediately, leaving the taste of durum wheat bread crust on the tongue and palate.
Very light smoked (I would say imperceptible), zero peaty hints.
Beautiful in its simplicity.
The bitterness is slightly too pungent compared to a typically German Helles, but a characterization that distinguishes it and, for my personal tastes, makes it distinguishable and unique.
Over the years it has always maintained a very high level.

Golden appearance, quite clean, good carbonation, off-white foam, average.
Definitely malty smell, even too malty, with some biscuit.
Malt in the taste too, nothing really interesting. Quite boring.
Full body, malty aftertaste, not too long.
