Idaho 7 is a hop that Fisher utilizes in a number of beers, but none is more anticipated than the annual Idaho 7 fresh hop beer. Last to harvest, and worth the -wait, when the boxes of fresh-picked Idaho 7 arrive, the hops are consistently the biggest, dankest and best smelling of the varieties we work with. And this year, we boosted it into a 6.5% abv IPA, giving it its own label and can! The extra alcohol provides a bit more depth compared to its draft cousins. Big pine and fruit dominate the nose. Mild grassy and pine notes in the mouth are followed by a smooth, moderate bitterness
