Pours a clear pink tinted golden, sugar white lacing for a head.
Smells of crisp barley and cracker malts, sugars, and grassy undertones.
Flavor is of cracker and cereal malts, dry, with a notable beet sugar sweetness. It has a tinge of vegetable to it. Finishes with light citrus and grassiness.
Body is light medium with stinging carbonation.
A solid kolsch with the added uniqueness of the beet sugar. It adds an element to the beer that makes it stand out. I can safely say I've had no other beer that tastes quite like this. Worth trying for that reason alone.
