Growler filled on opening night, consumed within two days. The "West Coast" moniker called out to me - hard to find a version of an IPA being produced by east coast brewers that isn't too fruit-forward these days. Aroma out of the growler and glass is unreal - fresh cut spruce, grapefruit and lemongrass. Inviting and impressive. Poured a golden hue with a nice frothy head that lingers. Taste is grapefruit, pine, orange zest, toasted bread. Crisp citrus. Not balanced by any means - there's a big hop profile - but it isn't pungent or sticky. Finishes with a crispness that lends itself to another sip. Love it.
