Superb lasting head even though it is relatively small. It leaves a great blanket of lace on the glass. Muddy look even though the initial color is dark gold.
The smell brings a synthetic grapefruit aroma. It's almost a Fresca smell.
The flavor is an extension of the smell, but much drier. There is still a sweetness in the initial taste -- also a little plasticy. The aftertaste does not linger, which I think it's fortunate. Good body with a diminutive carbonation level. Overall, this is an interesting but unimpressive beer.

L: Unfiltered, hazy, grapefruit juice
S: Mild citrus, piney
T: Starts with a subtle malt sweetness and flows to a tingly mild bitter ending
F: Creamy, smooth, sharp ending
Overall: Good ale beginnings from Jack's Abbey. Looking forward to more from Springdale Barrel Room.

Golden Yellow in color. Turbid as all hell. Lime, pine and young mango. Earthy, super dank and resinous. Very soft, creamy mouth feel. Balanced. Nice level of sweetness. Complex. Delicious.
