Brightly juicy, with notes of ripe peach, papaya, red grapefruit, melon and hints of green tea. Hopped with Idaho 7, Lemondrop, Amarillo.

From the 16 oz. can dated 05/23/20. Sampled on July 26, 2020.
The hazy yellow appearance is not as milky as some NEIPA's but it is mostly opaque. Modest white head.
I pick up some orange, tangerine, citrus, and herbal hop sensations on the nose with a lower profile white breaded note.
Smooth, medium mouthfeel.
Sweet then fruit characters in the taste. There is also an herbal character and a kind of ash character in the taste. Mild to moderate bitterness at the finale.

-hazy yellow can pour with a frothy foam cap and a clementine aroma. The flavor is flowery with orange notes. The flavor is light and the body is a bit thin.

A somewhat thin IPS that is clean and crisp. Piney notes and a good head. Relatively easy drinking with a clean finish makes this a good, but not great IPA.

Solid offering on draft at a LI bar from a brewery I am unfamiliar with. While not labeled as a hazy IPA this NE style had that typical golden orange look to it with some lingering effervesce. Flowery meets piney nose with notes of some fruit like apricot and nectarine. The taste was very pleasant and drinkable shifting from the stone fruit nose to a more tropical palate of papaya and mango with hints of lemon in the acidity. Finished nicely.

Oooh it's that lovely cloudy, golden orange color with a white and opaque haze inside. White foam is formed, caps off, and dissipates fast. Only a very thin nubbly top is left. After a bit the foam and bubbly cover has gone away.
A bold fruity sweet nose from the new fangled hoppiness. Tropical juicy but mostly pineapple and sweet tarts candy style. Bright citrus and light grainy malted barley. Sure smells like a NEIPA.
Thick and oily hops give off this slicker than normal mouthfeel. Perhaps some malty slickness mixed in, but the malt seems to be all golden-crispy grains, lightly roasted style in flavor, which is spot-on. The malt definitely plays a bolder role than in most NEIPA's perhaps that's the difference here.?
Back to the hops: very bold, with a bitter grapefruit and dry Earth effect, the IBU's seem high, but that can be decieving. Unsweetened pineapple and mango come to mind. Slick bitterness in feel and flavor is pretty complex, but also my least favorite aspect, usually. This liquid feels heavy, slick and oily with splashes of dry bitterness.
Overall...this one's crazy. Rough around the edges in many ways, but also interesting and complex, flavor wise. I'm still trying to wrap my head around it.

Hazy, light gold color. Lasting head with excellent lacing in the form of rings and blankets.
A blend of floral and biting hops to the nose. Behind this is a neutral pale malt aroma.
The malt is stronger in the the taste exhibiting greater toastiness (Amber Ale?) than the smell nor the color indicates. The hop is less dominant here with the very high carbonation perhaps affecting its potency. While the swallow is bitter, it doesn't lead to long aftertaste.

A- Mostly clear golden-orange body with the slightest bit of haziness from the tallboy into a tulip glass. A one finger foamy white cap rises up with good retention leaving thick sheets of lacing.
S- Somewhat faint here compared to the modern IPAs out there. Comes down to mostly dank and floral hops with pine, grapefruit, weed and some tropical mango hints coming in as well.
T- Becomes a bit spicier and that suits the heavy dankness that is present from the hops. Grapefruit zest and oil comes off but its not obviously a citrus bomb with floral, pine, weed, mango, tangerine and bubble gum coming to mind. Light sweet cereal grain hint.
MF- Light-medium bodied with a fluffy and frothy texture and a high level of carbonation. Ends with a nice bitter bite on the palate and decently smooth overall.
Lacks some oomph but doesn't really have any true bad qualities. The aroma could use a boost but the flavor brings a nicely balanced hop profile of dank, tropical, citrus, pine and floral hops.
