Repping the old school west-coast style we first fell in love with. Simcoe, Chinook, Centennial, and Calypso hops bring the dank noise.

On draft at the brewery. Brewed with Simcoe, Chinook, Cenntenial, and Columbus, per their description. I was reluctant to get this because I'm not fan of Chinook and I'm not totally in love with Columbus either, but I'm glad I did. Huge hit. Tropical notes are complex and soft. Very little bitterness. Juicy yet still crisp.

Pretty awesome as well. Pale orange haze again with medium white head that dissipates a little faster. Again a tropical citrus aroma but much more subdued. Little thin for how hazy this is. Would definitely crush a bunch of these.

Consumed 3/21/17
A: Pale orange gold with some tangerine around the edges - hazy, but not a turbid swamp - pours with a medium size, white head, fades to a wispy cap, leaves some streaks of lacing
S: Definitely west-coast inspired with some citrus, orange and grapefruit flesh and juice - lightly dank, some pine resin, floral pine - some pale malt, bread, and crackers at the base
T: Orange, grapefruit, and tangerine flesh, citrus peel, oil, touch of pith - some dank notes, pine resin, pine needles, herbal notes - some spice and touches of earth - some pale malts, caramel, crackers, low sweetness - could be cleaner
M: Medium body, medium carbonation, somewhat smooth
O: What exactly are you sayin'?
I bought a can of Just Sayin' without actually trying it on tap. Why? Everything I have had from Springdale has been thoroughly interesting. That being said, this is not one of my favorites. Considering how many super-clean beers are coming out of Jack's Abby, this experiment tastes a bid muddled. It should be a bit tighter to fully pay tribute to the West Coast hop bomb.

Canned 3/08
Pours a large fluffy foamy head that fades at a med pace, little lacing, very hazy lemony yellow pilsner color.
Nose a bit dank, piney, mild citrus orange zest, faint tropical notes, touch of malt, a bit of a juicy citrus hops, grapefruit and orange rind starts to increase after the slurry at the bottom of the can was poured in.
Taste brings big piney hops, little dank, into citrus, juicy hops, a little rind, into spicy piney hops, a little resin, just a touch of toasted malt and sweetness, a little herbaceous, and a faint grapefruit, again increasing after the slurry was poured in. Finish is drier, a little lingering pith and rind, plenty of citrus though.
Mouth is med bod, decent carb,
Overall not bad, hops are not quite up to the level of a typical west coast IPA, but not bad, malts might be a bit high for that as well, and overall aroma and flavor are a bit muted from what I would have expected.
