Citrus, tropical, slightly tart. The ABV listed on tap at Springdale was 4.7%. Not sure if this is the result batch-to-batch tinkering and variation. I look at everything on tap at Springdale as being point-in-time as opposed to having any "regulars." Has that hazy yellow, cloudy NE IPA look. Aroma is lemon peel, orange, pine and grapefruit. Taste is grapefruit, tangerine, lemongrass, clementine and papaya. Good mix of citrus with a slight malt body that can barely hold up the hops. A little acidic and tart from all those new hops. So drinkable - clean, citrusy and refreshing.

Consumed 4/16/17

A: Pale orange-gold, more of a dull yellow in the light - hazy - medium sized white head, fades to a few wisps, maintains a small collar, leaves a few streaks of lacing

S: Hoppy, yes, but kind of an unusual hop profile - some citrus, grapefruit peel and lemon - some lightly dank and resinous hops - lightly tropical, with some fleshy pineapple, cantaloupe, melon rind - some white grapes - absolutely no malts to speak of, but a light sweetness

T: Decidedly light - mild citrus, some orange, grapefruit, lemon, lime - some dank, resinous hops, with some grass, herbs, and spice - a bright peach flavor, which I apparently missed in the aroma - some tropical notes, including melon, passionfruit, and pineapple - white grapes - some sweetness, but this is really hop water

M: Light body, somewhat smooth, somewhat crisp

O: What are you waiting for?

As I think I've said every time I review a Springdale beer, everything seems to taste like an experiment. Wait For It has a nice (and somewhat unique) hop profile, but the body is lacking, even for the style, which is defined by fizzy hop water. With some work this could be exceptional.

canned 2/22

Pours a decent foamy bubbly 1/2 finger head that fades at a fair pace, little spotty lacing, very hazy bright yellow color,

Nose very dank, like armpit dank, some pine notes, onion, musty with faint passion fruit and tropical notes, really like an armpit.

Taste brings mild bubblegum and tropical fruit hops, musty passion fruit and papaya, touch melony and fruity, a little background onion and pine, thin in general with almost no malt character and light hops in general too, like hop water. Finish light, lingering musty dank almost armpit again.

Mouth is thin and light, watery even for a session... session beer does not mean it has to have no body, decent carb.

Overall meh, besides the super light thin mouth which I guess most brewers don't understand that you can still have body without much abv, comes the armpit dankness from the hops which is unpleasant.
