Pours a hazy orange with soft, fine foam.
Smell is piney with notes of grapefruit, soft malt sweetness and some spicy resin and orange peel.
Taste is fruity with a solid bitterness. Notes of grpefruit, lemon, pine and a nice malt base with some sweetness. Very well balanced, no booziness.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft and well carbonated.
Overall, a very nice bi coastal hybrid IPA.

Canned on 6.14.18, best by 8.13.18, opened 8.27.18
“Must stay cold”
Can poured into Teku glass, hazy yellow , one finger white foam cap, quickly settles to a thin layer of white foam
Aroma of juicy fruit, mango, citrus, whiff of spicy pepper
Taste of juicy fruit, lime citrus
Smooth but I get a bit of the alcohol on the taste, suds up in the mouth
Good beer

Dated 6/14/18 on the bottom of the can, just under 3 weeks since brewing.
Pours a hazy deep orange-golden with a finger + half of pillowy off-white head. Nose starts off with strong spicy dankness, followed by the stereotypical tang of the lupulin powder. Notes of black pepper, ever so slight bubble gum, black licorice, orange rind, lychee and little bit of apple cider. Taste follows the nose, with spicy malt and pepper underlying the rest of the flavors. It also brings in ruby grapefruit, slight cantaloupe and a little white wine vineousness. Medium body on this brew, but it still has a little wateriness for a 8.5% ABV. Low bitterness/drying and a medium-low sweetness. A solid attempt at a NEIPA but not quite hitting the mark. You have to dig for the tropical notes under the spiciness/pepper and it's being propped up by the lupulin powder, which comes off a little chemically. I can't wait to see Springdale's version of this, a year down the line.
