Nucleated Tulip
Look: Hazy dark yellow, pouring a 1 finger head which dissipated to a thick ring
Smell: Wild funk with traditional sour. Fruity brightness, very light hint of apricot and malt
Taste: High tartness with light salinity leads to sweet apricot and bread with tannic oak notes lingering in there. Finish is dry with apricot and funk carrying along.
Feel: Light body with a crisp and dry finish. Gentle carbonation

Glowing, mostly clear yellow with thin, fizzy and short-lived head. Smell is earthy and sour with apricots lurking beneath. Taste is really nice. Well balanced....tart, apricots, little bit of funk. Not too much of any one element. Medium carbonation. Overall, this is a well done beer. I would happily buy this again.

L: hazy apricot/lemon with a small, short lived white head
S: apricot peel, bitter orange, lemon zest, hay, oak leaves
T: ripe apricots, sour orange, lemon, hay, a little green apple, oak tannins, yeasty funk
F: fizzy with a sweet tart front and a dry finish that leaves a hollow feel on your tongue
O: this is very good. The dry tannins from the oak barrels moderate the sour yeasts & bacteria, the apricots provide a sweetness that balances the tart. The general “funkiness” brings it all together.

Pours a mild fizzy bubbly smaller head that fades quickly, a little soapy lacing, semi clear iced tea brown tan color
Nose big tart sour funk, tons of acetobacter and souring funk, sweet brown malts as well with big vinegar acidity, malt vinegar, and some sour apricot notes, plenty of souring bacteria funk
Taste starts with big sour malts again, sour mash with big acetobacter as well, big vinegar acidity and souring bacteria, little flemmy funk, some apple cider vinegar and acidic, plenty of big oak too, big buttery oak, mild flemmy finish bit not too much, a bit of sour apricots but again not much
Mouth is med bod a bit syrupy and flemmy with bright acidity and decent carb
Overall not bad, wish the apricot was more, but nice sour funky beer without being overpowering acidic or flemmy

Tried this at Eli Cannon's in Middletown, CT. Came in a tulip glass with about a quarter inch of head no lacing with a misty amber color. The smell was sour and sweet, like a cider. The flavor is sour and slightly funky and mouldy. Only my second American Wild Ale. Decent stuff.

Poured into a tall tulip, the appearance was a orange milky bronzed color with a small cap of a little white foamy head that slid off fairly quick. No lace whatsoever, no matter how hard I poured.
The aroma started with a sweet to tart apricot fleshy tart character push against some lemongrass, lemon rind, sweet oaky wood, field grassy funk and a touch of earth.
The flavor melded the sour to the tart to the fleshy sweet apricot and bringing in a blend of lemon to lemongrass. A mild earthy funk nipped at the background. Subtle aftertaste of apricot fleshy tart to sweet character.
The mouthfeel was almost medium bodied as it seemed just a touch under. A fine sessionable quality seemed to mess with sour character as there wasn't exactly anything to grab at my tongue. Decent carbonation level. ABV felt fairly close to what was projected. Very light finish, mainly apricot tart to sweet quality.
Overall, very nice apricot sour beer. I'd have again.

Tasted on tap at the brewery. Copper colored and crystal clear. Excellent lacing with a strong lattice and blanket of fine bubbles on the glass despite the tiny head.
More sweet than sour, I'd say it comes across as an apricot candy.
The flavor is a flip flop of the taste; it is fast more sour than sweet. It could be a Belgian apricot Lambic. Impressive because of the melding of flavors.

Sample at beer meets wood last weekend.
Lightly hazy peachy color with a thin white head.
Lots of apricot fruitiness on the nose and flavor with bits of sour earthy and light funk to round it out. Very nice beer.

Pours a light brown with burnished gold highlights around the base when backlit. Head dissipates into a creamy band around the shoulders. Not much to the nose - maybe oak and a hint of apricots - the apricot presence may be more due to the description that actual aroma. Taste is very pleasant - tart stone fruits, light toasted oak and lacto and/or pedo notes. Mouthfeel is light in body with a mild, even carbonation; however, the acidity creates a more assertive mouthfeel. Overall, a very good apricot sour in my opinion.
