Collab with idle hands, draft at the brewery
Served in a mug, big frothy pillowy head fades slowly good lacing, semi clear slight reddish orange color
Nose toasted malts, toasted reddish Munich malt, little sweetness, candy caramel notes, faint grassy hop
Taste nice German lager, soft lagering, juicy soft malts, little toasted reddish malt, mild biscuit and caramel sweetness, grassy herbal hops kick in and ramp quite a bit to a spicy note, hint fruity lagering. Finishes drier and fairly bitter, little soft lager.
Mouth is med bod but soft lagering, nice carb
Overall mixed, it started very nice with great lager and German malts, very marzen like, then hops kicked in and started ok but then got a bit too herbal spicy bitterness that kinda gets in the way. But I really like the German lager.
