A good Irish dry stout by Springdale. It isn't Guinness or Murphy's, but it still has that most important of style characteristics: supreme drinkability. I wish this was part of their core lineup.

Less good Guinness/Murphys, but still good.

Canned 3/06/18
Pours a huge foamy fluffy almost 2 finger darker colored head that fades semi slowly, nice lacing, very dark basically black beer
Nose roasted black malts, black patent malt I think, fair roasty, dark chocolate, cocoa, dry stout like mild roasty, little biscuity, little bitterness, little yeasty
Taste creamy lactose and dry Irish stout, bitter roast and spicy earthy hops, a little chocolate cocoa, roasty notes with a black malt as well, mild biscuity notes with hint of cookie dough, touch of char, faint caramel nougat, drier but mild creamy finish, quite bitter spicy hops lingering
Mouth is med bod, fair creamy, nice carb
Overall mixed, a bit too bitter esp the spicy hops, with the yeasty notes weren't there, otherwise pretty nice.
