Respect the Elder Mother and her bounty will provide. To our offering of golden and red barrel-aged beer, we add elderberries and long pepper for a mysterious, deeply fruity and complex beer.

Poured from an undated 500 ml bottle into the test glass.
A - Plum colored backdrop, gently carbonated, a vigorous pour yielded a 3/4" white froth. During the experience a contiuous thin ring occupies the perimeter.
S - Elderberry, cranberry, red currant, red wine vinegar (in a good way) some cherry candy
T - Black cherry and elderberries, i get a little gingerry snap that must be from the long pepper, cranberry.
M - Tart start tart midle and surpisingly a dry semi sweet finish. Acidity is in check, but the fruit and mixed culture combine forces to keep things on the tart side.
O - A lovely fruited sour, one to take time with, the elderberry is quite pervasive, With a rise in temperature the long pepper part has a brief showing.
