Ordered for pickup during the Massachusetts lockdown. Number 00129 on the bottle, with a note saying this beer is aged a minimum of 1 year.
Large, big-bubbled head which dies quickly to nothing. No lace. Mild haze to the darker gold color.
Interesting aroma of cardamom and lightly sweet pear. The citrusy tartness is lighter than most of the Springdale offerings.
The brew starts with a lemony acidic bite, but the spice comes strongly. There's a mild sweetness, but after the swallow, it dries out again. Fairly full-bodied but with a corresponding heightened carbonation. Subtle, lingering aftertaste where the cardamom is strongest. Overall, the pear isn't overly apparent but effective in bringing balance.

Pours a light fizzy head little lacing, hazy light pale pear color
Nose brings some baked pear pie like, tart funk, also some pie spices including cardamom, but also that base blond sour with plenty of buttery oak, lacto acidity
Taste brings plenty of tart funk, blond sour base with lots of buttery oak, nice lacto funk and medium acidity, creamy like notes, with more pear, fresh and baked pear pie, cardamom is very light but thankfully not overpower, although a bit more would be nice, dry finish with a touch flemmy and acidic
Mouth is med bod, lighter carb, fair acidity and mild flemmy finish
Overall they always have that great base blond sour funky with lots of buttery oak, the pear was pretty nice on this, but cardamom was very light

Interesting interplay of cardamom, pear and funk. Really balanced well and works great.
