No head, clear cranberry ruby color
Nose nice fruity red wine, Barbera makes sense, soft red wine, mild buttery oak but also vanilla and toasted oak, plenty of bacteria souring funk
Taste big tart funk, quite sour, good bacteria sourness with lactic and acetic acid actually gets hot acidic, little Brett funk, big barrel notes, vanilla, toasted and mild buttery oak, light spice even, big berry fruit, Barbera wine like with berry fruit, tons of cranberry and some blackberry, grape skin with a little tannin, drier flemmy acidic finish, lingering cranberry and oak
Mouth is med bod, big tingly acidity add quite flemmy, no carb
Overall quite nice but mixed on the sour level, great barrel, vanilla and toasted oak, nice base sour, nice wine and dark berry fruit notes, acidity gets a bit overwhelming the only thing keeping thing from being incredible, no carb or head as expected from a straight from the barrel pour
