Pours a light fizzy head that disappears instantly, no lacing, a bit of legs, very clear orange slight amber color
Nose brings mostly their base sour, typical great sour from Springdale, nice bacteria funk and acidity, tart funk with some Brett farmhouse note but not barnyard funk, apricots up front, mild apricot extract like, no cranberry initially, then a swirl opened some nice cranberry, no oak (but no mention of oak)
Taste brings big tartness up front, tart funk with big souring bacteria, bright acidity, acetic acid and maybe some creamy lactic, a little Brett like farmhouse funk, some cranberry up front, not a ton but enough juice to know it's there, apricot is lighter this time, a bit overpowered by the cranberry and sourness, again no oak unlike most of their sours (but again no mention that it should have oak), a bit of vinous rose like wine in there as well, drier but mild sticky flemmy acidic finish
Mouth is med to a little lighter bod, big bright souring acidity, flemmy finish, med to higher slight effervescent carb, very low alcohol
Overall not bad, decent fruit, very sour, brings both cranberry and apricot between the nose and taste, first one then the other, but no oak which would have been a nice addition, and isn't as good as most of the others they make but good
