Best warmer: 45-50°. Tangy, zesty, tropical fruit, citrus. Wamea, Citra, and Monteuka hops.

Has serious card issues. Drinks a but flat and syrupy for an IPA. Aroma is good however and the flavor hits the juicy NEIPA notes right for the style, but I wish it drank a bit drier.

Hazy IPA with Montueka/Citra/Waimea hops. Limited NEIPA Rotating series.
Canned on 2/27/20
Opened and reviewed on 3/25/20
It's a hazy gold color with rusty orange tints within. A thin, white foam cap forms and then falls thin. The foam pretty much disappears, gone baby, gone.
The nose has some pungent fruity notes, boozy pineapple, spicy citrus and apricot come to mind. Very lightly sweet scented golden grains and honey in the malt underneath that. A rather inviting sweetly tinged tropical fruit thang is impressive.
Mouthfeel is very crisp at first sip and then becomes juicy and refreshing on the palate. There is a very subtle dryness with leafy bitter notes at the end. Missing is the crazy smooth texture that NEIPA'S can have.
Flavor compliles stone fruits of light mango, pineapple and peppery kiwi. Tropical and stoney fruits make up the flavors from the hops. The malt starts light and grainy and then gets slightly sweet and slick. I'm new to "Waimea" hops so that might explain the rather odd duck in the fruity side of the hoppiness. Either way, it's interesting.
Overall, it's a bit of mish mosh grouping of flavor, feel and effect. It's a bit like NEIPA LITE In many ways, but don't let that stop you from giving it a shot.

Rhythm Recipe Hazy IPA is a NEIPA canned on 2/27/2020, so 3 weeks old. Got a whiff pouring it into my Odd Fellows pint glass. Ooh yeah, this gonna be good. Motueka, Citra and Waimea hops says the can, 6.5% and apparently a one-off. I'm on my second pint now and it's delicious. Recommended!
