Canned 3/31/20, I'm a Bowie fan so love this
Pours a med frothy foamy almost 1 finger white head with low to med retention, a bit of soapy lacing, very hazy semi cloudy med-orange-red color
Nose big tropical fruit with a touch of dankness, pineapple, papaya, mango, a bit of peachy stone fruit, hint of perfumey but smooth alcohol, a little grainy sweet doughy malt
Taste kicks in strong with big hops out front, loads of tropical again, pineapple, papaya, into more of the peachy stone fruit again, a touch of citrus rind and getting a little dank and spicy as it goes, med creamy doughy malt, a bit of sweetness to balance as mild to med bitterness kicks in late, a touch of smooth perfumey alcohol again, grainy cereal notes, creamy flaked oats or something similar, drier mild sticky finish, a bit more alcohol warmth and bitter spicy rind hops
Mouth is med to a bit fuller bod, med-high creamy foamy carb, light warming alcohol
Overall pretty good DNEIPA, good hops, a little juicy but not a ton, light alcohol that reminds you it's 8%, decent malt, best of all nice balance, couldn't drink many of these given that I'm so burnt out on NEIPAs but it's solid
