L: Murky golden amber with a thin white head that quickly dissolves into film islands
S: Grapefruit, oak, hay, barnyard, orange & lemon zest
T: Grapefruit, bitter orange, lemon zest, hay, oak, green grapes, yeasty funk
F: vinous over the tongue with a lingering tingle, clean dry saliva inducing
O: a very good attempt to mimic a Paloma. The tequila doesn't come through, but you can taste the barrel. Plent of grapefruit and a nice mix of light & dark sours. You wouldn't mistake this for a real Paloma in a blind test, but it is about as close as a beer can come.

No bottled date but this seems like a recent endeavor as it was not on here before
So what do we have here? A tequila BA, mixed red and golden sour, cocktail inspired beer that says it was aged for a minimum of 13 months. Picked this bottle up during a trip to Jack's Abby/Springdale
Pours a cloudy orange tinted gold with no head, just a ring of bubbles so naturally it doesn't leave lacing
The nose hits damn hard here, just as complex as the wildest flanders red you could think of. Tons of funky wet hay and leather from the brett, charred oak, peaches, and cherries. Not really getting any grapefruit or tequila, but this is an intense nose
Holy shit, the taste could not be further from the nose. At first sip, it starts off very similar, but I was taken by surprise at the swallow. Up front, there's some tingly red berry notes with sharp vinegar to keep it tart, but the late palate turns this into something spectacular. The grapefruit comes out in a huge way, extremely tart and juicy which pairs well with the funk and wood that carries through this whole thing
This has a medium body and pretty high carbonation, making it drink closer to 4% than the actual 8.2%. Finishes just a touch sticky and goes between sweet and tart in the aftertaste
Wow, this one blew me away. I haven't had much from these guys, I started off with Lavenade and wasn't really a fan, but I'm so so so happy I picked this up. I could drink this all day if the price allowed it. Unquestionably picking up others in this series. Cheers!
