Canned 6/14/20
Finally getting back to Springdale, I have the last of my mixed 4 pack in front of me. This was probably the one I’ve been least excited about, as it’s just a blonde ale. I’m sure it’ll still be solid
Pours a clear pale gold with a finger of white head that reduces to a cap quickly and leaves patchy lacing
On the nose, I get a decent amount of spice, mostly white pepper. There’s a fair amount of lime and general citrus that stand out in front of the doughy malt
The taste is more of the same, starting off with peppery esters and lime. On the swallow, the malt takes over to smooth things out and leaves lingering notes of bread and green apple
As expected, the body here is very light and it’s well carbonated. It finishes just short of dry and is quite refreshing
Some good stuff here, easy drinking and simple. It kinda reminds me of a Belgian pale, as it has a lot more character than other blonde ales
