Pours a hazy kind of dirty golden. Orange zest and papaya on the nose. It's very rind forward. There's oily citrus bitterness. It's dry and perhaps more tropical fruit or ripe citrus character would come out if the final gravity was a little higher. The body is a little thin which lends itself to drinkability at the cost of full flavor. There's a touch of hop burn as well. There's some pez candy like textural minerality. Regardless, this still packs a citrusy punch that you can actually easily get at your local store.

Canned 7/14/20
Pours a med smaller fizzy head with lower retention, hazy cloudy pale orange color
Nose brings lots of citrus and tropical fruit, pineapple out front, juicy tangerine, orange, mango, papaya, touch of dank fruit, light cracker malt
Taste brings a light bitterness up front, pithy citrus rind with a little grapefruit even, then into pineapple, more citrus with orange zest, tangerine, big pineapple rind and grapefruit pith as well, juicy and a bit soft, light doughy malt, touch of cracker, med bitterness that increases on the drier finish, med-high spicy bitter finish
Mouth is med bod, a little soft juicy, med to a bit higher foamy carb
Overall this was somewhere between NEIPA and West Coast IPA, the rind bitterness of West Coast, but the soft juiciness of NEIPA, but doesn't really stride in either category

Pours a slightly hazy golden color. Not super cloudy. Sports a tight, white but ephemeral head.
Big time citrus aroma from the Galaxy and Citra tag team. But the malt isn't buried, at least not too deeply. Kind of a cracker smell peeking through. The aroma morphs into a blend of grapefruit and pineapple.
The taste is good, but I find it a bit of a letdown. I'm no expert in this style, but it seems to lack the big taste impact. It is citrus forward, some tropical fruit with passion fruit and some pineapple, and the malt does do its part in support. My overall thought is a nice flavor, but sort of ho-hum.
Feel is medium bodied, pretty smooth. A little citrus bitter bite at the end and lingering...ummm...orange peel in the where did that come from category.
Mind blowing it is not, but it is a pleasant beer to drink. Decent refresher for a hot day.
